I find it hard to believe that you find it hard to believe, but even so unfortunately it is all true. What is written is here unlike your comment, which is full of animosity towards someone you do not know; this post is not just a judgment but a recount of actual events. I don’t understand why you feel that I could not have been harassed unless you are personally associated with the operators of the restaurant, which I am beginning to believe is the case with these comments. You seem to have a personal vested interest and don’t express the views of someone who is just independently speaking.

Usually when I read a negative review of any place that I have been even if I have met the owners and talked and laughed with them, I usually don’t take the time to personally berate an independent reviewer. If you had a fabulous time you can write about it on trip advisor, but this is about my personal interaction with the operators of Lingah restaurant.

You seem to be personally offended but I assure you this blog post is not about you--but the operators of Lingah. In case you haven’t figured it out this is a post about a nightmare experience at a restaurant, get it now. I said it was a nightmare for me. I would hope this is not the way they normally treat people but this is how I was treated and I am sure it stemmed out of jealousy from the son Mark the "Moron". Now you might think I should have just endured what I described and say or do nothing about it but that is not me, as you can see I didn’t start this blog to write about Lingah, I have written about many experiences and this is just one of them.

I have a reputation to preserve, this blog and blogger has a reputation of honesty and integrity, and I wouldn’t jeopardize that reputation just to spread a false story about some little known restaurant in Negril. The blog is to document my story and provide information.

I truly find it hard to believe that they harassed you to that degree when there are a number of other customers that they could be concerned about. I frequented this restaurant as of the new year being that I stayed at Mariner's...a far cry from my outstanding experience.

Kate, there is a site where you can do that, this may not be it. while I appreciate your "review"..you might want to go to trip advisor. I am sure you were shocked at my post, imagine living it. I am not hostile, or dislike you at all, I dont know you, but I do know the operators of Lingah. As I stated I was there for seven weeks to your two weeks, what you described is not the norm at beach club, very few regulars ate at lingah. I was the same as you..the first time I stayed there I ate most of my meals at Lingah, I felt so bad for them I gave them free advise on how to improve their business..many of which they implemented. Imagine my shock at the treatment I received after recommending their business and investing my personal time.

I am not the only person who has had a negative experience with this restaurant, but I may the only one to write about it. Like you I thought it was important to tell my experience, thank goodness I have a blog, a fact the operators may not have considered when they were trying to rip me off and spreading lies about me.
