It brought me back to an incident that took place a few years past.   I couldn’t help but think what a jerk as I listened to my Broker recount the statements made by one of her business associates.  “He said that monkey in your office hung the phone up on me” she said and laughed and as she told me what he said I couldn’t help but noticing the sheer pleasure she tool in recapping his words.  He was talking about me and the jerk was a mortgage banker who came in our office and intimidated her to use his bank for all our buyers. He would yell and scream and throw things while making demands.  He was the “don’t you know who I am” type.  Portraying blacks as monkeys is not something new; it was done it the old days to infer that blacks were not as advance intellectually, and was a lower animal like being.   

The president is inextricably linked to the stimulus plan, working from that premise, New York has a history of questionable shootings involving the police and black males, and clearly the picture is portraying the president so why would someone want to joke about the NYPD shooting a black man worst of all the president?
